Thread: New MHS sith saber

    Default New MHS sith saber

Well heres my newest MHS sith saber.

    -Red 3w Luxeon
-MR Darth Maul sound board with stock housing, switch and battery/speaker pack.
-Blade holder style 7 with MR Luke ROTJ emitter and MR Mace Windu gold accents.
-MHS choke style 1 (will be replaced by MHS choke style 3 when back in stock)
-Two Double female with milled slots and grip dividers held together with a gender changer (used some epoxy adhesive with the gender changer to give it more strength). It also has skateboard grip tape in between the dividers.
    -Old pommel style 3

I got the Double female with milled slots from Lord Maul, thanks man.

They originally had some material between the grip dividers but after polishing the deviders and being as careful as I could, I still managed to get polishing compound on the material. This made it gooey so it had to go. But i replaced it with skateboard grip tape and I think it looks excellent.

I had all the other parts laying around so it came together really quickly. The MR Maul sound board, housing and battery/speaker pack fitted perfectly in the two Double female with milled slots, they were just the right length. All I had to do was drill two holes, one for the red twisty switch and one for the silver button. The silver button holds the housing in the hilt. I just unscrew the pommel and the battery/speaker pack falls out.

    Anyway, heres the pics:

Hope you like it. Even if you don't I do!!!

Yes, I spell it sabre. I just like it that way.

Its just under 12.5". The deviders make it look longer than it is.

Very nice Chaos! How did you line up the grip divider sections so perfectly? O ring inbetween them?

The red & silver buttons look great on the hilt

Really, it must have been luck then. When I screwed them together with the gender changer thats how they lined up. I thought I would have to use some 'o' rings to get them lined up but there was no need!!

I really like how the red and silver buttons look. To begin with I only had the red button but I thought it looked weired by its self do I added the sliver one and it worked.
