    Default Bleaping Ebay...

    I just spent all day getting my hopes up over a perfectly damaged Darth Vader MRFX (using $$ owed to me[])and I lost it in the last 10sec. by $1.26!!!

    All because we couldn't get it to Refresh fast enough!


    I was like

    That was over 2hrs. ago and I'm still bitter.

    We do.

    To be more specific, the PC got hung up at the last min. My friend was bidding on one PC, I was watching on another PC, and I think 2 other people were bidding at the same time. So the reaction time somewere in there got bogged down.

    I was on the phone with my friend and we're both like "Oh Oh OH!!! NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!"

    Could that have been a Darth Vader MR FX saber that I won today and beet the guy out by $1.26?? Just kidding this happens to all of us from time to time even with highspeed I still loose things to a higher bidder in the last seconds.

    I've often wondered if the dial-up lag helps. The bids put in at the same time would be recieved differently. The dial-up winning.

    Why didn't you just bid your max? I don't get this "sniper" thing. Ebay auctions all end the same, highest bidder wins, so just enter the max you're willing to pay and be done with it.
