Ever have one of those, "duh, i used to do that, so why didn't I think of that" moments

I just did. Thanks for the reminder

haha arkai, I know just what you mean, but I try to live my whole life by the adage of work smarter, not harder. If it worked before, it should work still/again. Just be careful that you dont pidgeonhole yourself on ideas (like my wiring recharge ports without a kill just because thats the way I first did it and it worked, so i didnt want to change it)

Nope just the blade holder, Tightening the screw puts pressure on the blade and holds it in place.

Default How to use retention screw?

Total newb question here, I know, but it's a bit hard to find all the answers through search. So I have my first saber, all put together, I've drilled and tapped a hole for the retention screw....

Here's the question, does the simple pressure of the bare screw tightened against the side of the blade hold it in place, even through battles, or do you also need to drill and tap a hole into the plastic blade as well? I don't want to test this as it will prolly' result in the loss of a blade. Thanks prematurely!

Why are you even asking this question, when it was answered in the post RIGHT ABOVE YOURS?
