haha arkai, I know just what you mean, but I try to live my whole life by the adage of work smarter, not harder. If it worked before, it should work still/again. Just be careful that you dont pidgeonhole yourself on ideas (like my wiring recharge ports without a kill just because thats the way I first did it and it worked, so i didnt want to change it)

so does the blade need a threaded hole to or, like how does the blade stay in place with the screw? this is my first saber so i dont really know?
Total newb question here, I know, but it's a bit hard to find all the answers through search. So I have my first saber, all put together, I've drilled and tapped a hole for the retention screw....
Here's the question, does the simple pressure of the bare screw tightened against the side of the blade hold it in place, even through battles, or do you also need to drill and tap a hole into the plastic blade as well? I don't want to test this as it will prolly' result in the loss of a blade. Thanks prematurely!
Why are you even asking this question, when it was answered in the post RIGHT ABOVE YOURS?

lol, here I am thinking I'm a total pro as I read 4 pages of this thread and still didn't find anything. Of course I skipped the one page that had not only my answer, but my post right below it, lol, sorry.
This is page 4.

Hey LM: would you want to lock this thread too? Everything about thread tapping is answered here.
Got a Question? There's a thread for that...
