When I got home today I did an experiment. I took a Magenta and cyan disks.
I ran lux III white direct from the battery, added the disks and got this.
I was impressed.
Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side, kid.

Follies Pink Lee Filter page 74. gives a very nice purple. i love it.

This is 9 15 degree "purple" 5mm LEDs on a PCB board...
(the color is quite accurate)
It gives a very bright purple for any blade around 30"

Official BMF and LORD OF THE STRINGS
The first Brazilian lightpike ever built. A rather improvised prototype with a white LuxIII and one dark purple TCSS coloured disc whose proper name I don't know (apologies).
It is about 6 feet long and runs on a 4 AAA (1,5v) pack; no drivers, no sound, just a resistor.
I am particularly displeased with its dim colour and I plan on using 2 coloured discs in my next purple blade (a 36-inch-bladed saber).
