some friends and I started celebrating May the 4th every year as a Star Wars holiday. Just an excuse to say "hey... it's may the 4th today... may the 4th be with you".

But if you wanna do it big - go for it. I'm probably gonna do a costume party or something. Post pics!
If it's going to be a decent bash - start planning now.

We could start a Nerd revolution or something! Maybe it'll become a Stat. Holiday... it could happen...

Hey lan what do you have against Bush, he's the best president we've had in a long time.
As for this becoming a holiday it wouldn't even be up to Bush anyway because it wouldn't happen for a couple of years

well, it was released on may 25th. maybe if you bumped it back about 3 weeks you could celebrate the release of all of them since they were all targeted at that date, even if they missed by a few days.

Yes, May 25th makes more sense. Not as catchy but a date that makes sense.

Now wait a minute, we can't do it on May 25th. That's already a geek holiday. May 25th is International Towel Day, in honor of Douglas Adams. You can wiki it for more info, but basically, it's when Hitchhiker's Guide fans carry their towels around all day to remember DNA's death. It isn't actually the day he died, rather the first day that they could get all of his fans notified and organized.

Could we find some obscure trivia knowledge of a date that the second Death Star was destroyed? It might have to be converted, and if it exists we would have to scan all of the EU knowledge to find it

its just my own opinion, but i myself, think bush could be doing a better job in handling the iraq crisis. and if you look up in the surveys and polls taken about how people think he's doing as president and some of his decisions, his handling of the iraq thing, you will see well over half the people surveyed say they are disatisfied in bush right now.

i even seen a poll taken on and presented by CNN NEWS, about his overal job as president, and guess what the results were, yep, national poll results said, Bush is the worst president we've had in some time. this aint made up, it IS the results of that poll.

im not slappin round politics here, just sharing what the polls say, thats all!
and i will not get into a fight over it. its not worth it. so topic closed as far as im concerned. no more said!

Polls are a joke! Just because everyone doesn't like the decisions he makes doesn't mean they're wrong.

Every one was saying the same thing about Lincoln too when he was in office...

I'm not saying that bush is up to par with Lincoln, just that we don't know all the facts, and most of the facts we get are scued by the media anyways, so we shouldn't be so quick to jump on the guy.
