Whiffle Sabers?

I call the Jay-gon/GeluKhanGharr's sabers "whiffle sabers 'cause they sound like whiffle bats smacking together when they "clash". You guys have done some awesome work when it comes to low cost saber-smithing and I can't thank you two guys enough!!!
Anyway, I've been messing with Jay-gon's PVC hilt concepts and GeluKhanGharr's pex blades and I came up with my own (hopefully) modular emitter system.

I originally wanted to be able to change the color of the blade just by screwing on a new emitter- the black emitter has a red led and the red emitter has a green led. Then I made 2 hilts, ruining the whole purpose of the modular system! So after some thought I came up with this:http://www.flickr.com/photos/2522264...n/photostream/

It doesn't have all of the electronics to light it up yet but I think it's got some real cool potential and I've never seen one b4. It also screws together to make a staff, it's over 8 feet long!
