My wife lost her job this morning.

This afternoon, she got a call from a place she interviewed about 3 weeks ago offering her a new one.


The Force is with us.

time to perform some thread necromancing.

The wife my job got was for a 6 month contract. She's absolutely loved it there. Well, her "boss" came to her yesterday at about 4:30 (quitting time is at 5) and told her that the big boss wanted to see her. Anybody ever been contract knows where this is going. So, she grabs her purse and walks in to his office. and sure enough, they are terminating her contract 4 months early. The reason they give is that she is doing such a fantastic job, they don't want to risk losing her, so they offered her a full time permanent position. needless to say she accepted.
