Charge port goes across + and -, and is best to be setup directly after the batteries (so... before EVERY other component).
An accent LED functions almost identically to the "main" LED... it's just lower power and all that. But treat it as exactly what it is... an LED!It needs a + and -... and a resistor (most likely) as well.
