For the pommel, I'd say take a TCSS pommel and ask Tim to machine a sleeve that can go over a standard TCSS pommel. IE, take a standard pommel, make a sleeve that can fit over it (so you can have that nice curved overlay look BUT keep the threads of the TCSS pommel that allow you to screw it together).

You can sort of see a bit of "shroud" hanging out. The idea I'm proposing is similar but with the sleeve/shroud thing on the pommel end.
