Default Wiring a low battery LED?

Hey all, I was hoping I could get some help from you guys. I have been kinda lurking around the boards for a couple months now picking up information and I am finally making my first saber. My problem is I have tried to search through as many of the threads as I could but I could not find anything really about how to wire up a low battery LED into my saber. I'm using a Royal Blue K2 with 2 700mA buckpucks and a 7.2v 2600mAh rechargable baterry. can anybody offer some insight into how to wire the low battery led or is that a trade secret haha. Thanks.

It's not going to work with anything that basic. You need something that would monitor the voltage of the battery while in use.

I guess the best alternative would be to make a PLI on a quick connect (whether it's an actual "quick connect" or a charge plug doesn't really matter).
