Thank you, Brackley. I knew I had punctuated my post properly.

I don't know why Darth Lars got on my case. Maybe he thought I used too many commas?

I always received good grades in English classes.

But back on topic. There are a lot of armor making tutorials out there, using craft foam (sounds cheesy, but it can actually look pretty good), plastic trash cans, papier mache, even card board.

Do a google search on "making costume armor" and explore various methods. I tried it and it came up with lots of information.

When I started looking at mando refrence pics for ideas and wha tnot to do to look like someone else I found that design wize mandos and reven are close. Reven has a mask with a tshapted visor, the armor(kinda to a point). I would love to do a reven but no thanks, to much black going on and heat kills me.

The black would be very hot, especially here in Miami. But I'm not going to wear it for extended periods.

Ive been doing alot of research on this subject lately, I have 2 armor builds I have to do before halloween. One is Anakins shoulder piece from the new Clone Wars movie. If you haven't seen pics its very Vaderesque. Then for myself I'm making some armor plating and boot armor for my Secret Apprentice Sith Lord costume.

For the Clone Wars armor I'm going to use Wonderflex because it is great for making curves and can be easily reheated and reshaped. For my armor plates I'm going to be using Craft foam with styrene overlays to give it some thickness and rigidity.

Do some google searches on Styrene armor and check out that link earlier in the thread about Wonderflex. You should be able to figure something out fairly quickly.

    Hope this helps.

This website does a great job of walking through vaccuumforming....

    http://www.studiocreations.com/howto...per/index.html

For Revan, I expect you might want to use vaccuumformed plastic and this site, athough about Stormtroopers, would apply to any sort of armor.....

The real trick (to quote Captian Solo) is the making of the mold to use. Simple armor, not so hard. Detailed stuff, with lots of nooks and crannies......much harder.

Read through that site to get some ideas.

    Random punctuation string.....;';';'//?"``~~-=\
