    Default UltraFires and Lux V's

Hey guys, I've been looking at some projects people have been doing recently, they are using some Ultrafire 800mAh 14500's, what sort of run times with a Lux V do people get? Would it be worth buying some for a lux V?

I'm guessing it would be a poor choice because of the run times? Either way, my saber could do with the extra space

    Cheers!

Being that I use Li-Ion all the time, all I can recommend is using the 18650 cells. At 2400mah, they are one of the best cells for energy density vs. space taken.

I usually avoid Lux Vs since they are so bloody voltage-hungry. And even 7.2v is often just a LITTLE bit too low (when coupled with a driver board) to be feeding the Lux V the optimal current.
