I second the shorter blade. I ordered the 38 or 40" one first and just ordered and received 32". Way better. With the longer blade, not only will it be immensely blade-heavy, the lux3 kit will not light up that whole blade. I had a space of about 10" in the blade that had virtually no light shining through because so much had to be dispersed up that long blade. With the 32" I can tell a world of difference and I haven't even changed batteries! I say go 34", thats the length of the Master Replicas sabers' blades, to give you an idea of size. Did you know Tim can powder coat those pieces black? Just contact him before hand if you:
    a) want only certain areas of a pieces colored, as in your "Final F".
    or
    b) you want the blade holder drilled and tapped before he paints it.

Oh, and remember he probably won't be answering emails til tuesday at the earliest No one wants to return to work that soon after a vacation.

36 - 38 in blades are best for hilts 11-13 in long.

    I second the 10/32 screws.

Oh just a thought, I never found out what the whole 10/32 thread thing was about, is it imperial 10/32 or some american thread?

10/32 means size number 10, with 32 threads per inch.
