My new MHS saber for this weekend for a Star Wars themed airsoft game. I will be playing the Sith Lord. The hilt is 1.25 PVC (plenty strong and easy to cut). The blade and tip are a thickwalled TCSS set, but we lined with with red cellophane so it will be visible in the daylight. It gives it a very cool blood red color when lit. The red screws I found online and the red gaskets are plumbing materials. It's powered by one Ultrafire 18650 and an MR Obi Wan soundboard.

I'm also working on a light side version, but that won't be done for a while.

I see in the pic that the red cellophane looks bright, how does it compare to clear cellophane and a red LED, in person that is.

I only used about 2 wraps of red cellophane (we tried a few different combos).

Red cellophane .................................................. .... Ultrablade

it looks very comfy to hold... plus Im likin the cellophane in the blade... been wanting to do that for a while! Glad to see its catching on.

really nice both thew saber and the blade, question with the red cellophane are you using a white led to light it up or a red led?
