Luke luxeon conversion
Can anyone tell me How to take apart the Luke saber (the new one). If this is posted somewhere else sorry I missed it.
Is that your lightsaber or are you happy to see me?

I'll be getting at that in a couple days since I just broke the solder point on 1 led in the array. If nobody can link you to one, I'll try and post one up.
By the way, it's frickin' awesome, isn't it? So light and easy to throw. I just find the unfortunate placement of the activator box to be a little bit of a pain.

hey I'm completely new to saber building and to the site (first post), but if you meant the Luke ROTJ saber try this:

you might have to register to see it, but it's very detailed and with photographs of each step. again I'm new here and new to forums in general so if I screw up bear with me lol.

That is basically the way I take them apart. Usually that inner battery sleeve doesnt just slide right out though.

I've never taken one apart personally, so that's good to know. is it due to a screw or pin the guy forgot to mention in his process, or do you mean it's just stuck in there really well?

now as far as a blade holder goes are the luke sabers similar to anakin and vader?
