your right on there, not only do they end up deactivating in mid fight all the time, people keep loosing the screw on ring or just plain shearing off the switches!

How fun!!!
fighting in the dark looks cool, but Ive found it to be more difficult if you are just sparring for fun, although the blades are lit and usually pretty bright it can be tricky to see where and what your opponent is doing. The dude with the two sabers keeps putting the blade in his armpit! Didnt you guys tell him that he cut his own arm off? hehehe.
