What if you used a colored celophane as blade film with a p4 or somthing like that?

Yep, the only benefit is if you use red... some people that are into costuming like the fact that the blade is colored for daytime pictures and they say red works well for that. You will always get better color/brightness out of a colored LED vs. a filter or colored blade film.

Yeah someone posted a pic of Revan, Visas and Nihilus with coloured film blades and even unlit in daylight they looked nice...those were all red though.
