    Default Lining things up...

First off...to any store staff reading this....thank you sooooo much for stocking the small heat sinks again...I was very happy to see those again.

What do you folks usually use for lining up the collimator/lens and the blade?

On my hilt, the blade is pretty snug, but the heat sink has just a little room which isn't allowing itself to center properly, or will that take care of itself once I tap & use set screws?

    Nobody answered this yet, huh?

The bottom of the blade holders are made to fit over the lens and holder so that it centers those pieces and holds them in place.

If your heat sink is a bit loose, be very careful when you tighten the blade holder, so that you don't damage the lens or holder. If you feel any resistance when you are screwing down the blade holder STOP! Unscrew it a bit and reach your finger down inside the blade holder and try to center the lens/holder, then try to continue tightening the blade holder.

It may take some trial and error to get the lens/holder centered, and the blade holder completely screwed on, with a smaller, looser heat sink.
