Its just electrical tape, when I finish my mace conv Im gonna upgrade it to e-grips.
The design is based on a hardware saber I built a few years ago, which was actually my first saber build....and heres a picture...
It still looks very niceGood job.

SilentBob - that looks pretty darn great! (The MHS one, that is)
I've been wanting to do a hilt with a similiar part orientation (ribbed section in the middle), to see what it looks like. It looks great! Thanks for the motivation!

Have you figured out how to center yet? That is driving me nutty but I reckon if noone can ceter then it don't matter huh?
