    The stock paint job and electronics left a lot to be desired on what really is a pretty good hilt for large people. My hand wraps around it just fine.

    Hilt SCC80 1 1/4 PVC, Grip 50mm medium wall heat shrink tube, T12 for the end cap. Coil .062 solder.
    Electronics all TCSS TRI CREE BBW, Cool white for the internal. NBV4 28MM PREMIUM, guarded momentary sw.
    Paint Krylon Fusion Nickle and satin black

    Let me know if Works in Progress are not allowed and I'll take it down.

    After a lot of sketching and fiddling I finally bought a bunch of MHS parts and played a bit. After some edits I think I have a direction I'm happy with. The paper mock ups are going to be used as templates to cut out sleeve material. Wish me luck with that, hehe

    i made my first saber hilt for Star Wars Celebration II in 2003. I sculpted in clay, made a casting in wax, and cast it in Aluminium. The hilt housed only a phono-jack with a side port to an external power source hidden in my sleeve. The blade was electro-luminescent ¾" blue tube.
