I fond a set of zombie dentures from an old costume the other day, so an old blade holder became the host for an organic saber....you can see the bone structure in this, I just need to figure out how to make this look like a dried out aquatic animal.....

just the bone structure here, I still need a skin for it, plus the eyes will be glass with holes under them to light them up with the blades lower part.....yup, looks like crap now, but one of the 1st jobs i ever had was sculpting...this one should be sick to the point of being "too organic"., I'm going full horror film with it...sorry about the blurry pics, I'll fix them as soon as I feel like doing it...

With a judicious application of a clear liquid resin/varnish for the 'drool' factor on the teeth, you'll end up with a saber will will cause any noble Jedi to crap his robes.

a few more pics, with 5mm white leds for the eyes, the bottom of each is drilled out to make the eyes light up the same as the blade....
SWAT. I'm def going to take your suggestion, I think that would look really good getting the teeth nice and "drooly"....but the "crap his robes" comment made me laugh so hard I had soda come out of my nose...
