Dont laugh! How do I do a pink blade?

My daughter wants one, any ideas people? I think the colour is "Baby Pink".

It wont be in progress till about this time next year, just fishing for ideas.

White + Filters.

Generally if its not a normal lux color like red, red orange, blue, green, cyan, or white its white + a filter for desired colors. or a RGB with pots.

Thats the saber I made for my daughter, I used a K2 white electronics kit and the pink color disk from the set tim sells in the store.

I concur with the above:
- White with filters - the ones sold here include some pinks
- joe jedi rgb, but hard-wired for just R and B, the R is a tad brighter = also making a definite pink

I used to have a magenta filtered blade in my saber, but most people called it pink (or hot pink). It was a white Lux III and a magenta gel filter from Rosco.

Here's an old pic I have of it. It's not the greatest, and it's the only one I had uploaded that I could share right now.



I have since changed it out for a green blade but if you want to pm me your email address, I can email you a few better pictures back.

try bright pink #128 lee filters page 73 or broadway pink #339 , and like acr rocket said check different magneta's , then u will find the pink you want

i would go RGB LED cuz if she is a girly girl she will prolly love to have baby blue and whatever other colors that u can come up with... u said u have a year so might as well read all the diagrams on how to make the multi colors with the RGB cuz in a year from now she mite want a diff color


if u just want pink do the filters it will get the job done and she will be happy witch is all that matters in the end

This is a Seoul P4 white, with a circle of red plastic cut from the box my Hasbro Vader came in.

I think thats about right for the blade, mentally noted thank you, and bubblegum powder-coating, she'll be happy ha ha!
