    Screw on pommel style 5
    + green led light

ihilt will be 10" long so will it be big/long enough for the Luxeon V Electronics Kit?

Collimator lens I believe is for focusing light from LED into a narrow beam, travelling up the blade.

Some say 10" is to short for Lux V, if you want a decent run-time, you need more battery power than Lux III, and batteries takes up space.

Anyone feel free to correct me, as I am pretty new to some of this stuff myself.

If you cant use the 6AA holder you can always use a 9v or for longer run times 2 9v's in parallel.

I would suggest using a buck puck in that case as resistors seem to get really hot at that voltage.

pucks and the rechargeable batt packs. the packs are shorter and take up less space. the bigger mah size pack is only 4 inches, basically 2 AA's in length versus the regular 6 AA holders. perfect for tight on room hilts.

ok so heres what else i'll get

7.2V AA 2600mAh NIMH Rechargeable battery pack
    BuckPuck 1000mA(or should i get the 700?)
Build Your Own Luxeon V Electronics Kit (will i need this? or should i just go buy a Luxeon V Star light?)

    will all that fit inside?

    what collimator should i get?

thanks for all the comments guys

edit: also what would be a good size blade for a 10" hilt?

what size screw should i get to hold the light saber in if i get Screw on LED blade holder style 5, or Screw on LED blade holder style 8?

Well the saber design is all up to you, I would get a 10* lense. as for the eletronics kit dont forget if your going with rechargables to get the proper charger for the batteries you got, I would suggest the ones that tim sells.

Recharge port must match the plug size

As for the eletronics kit I would talk to tim and have him put a kit togeather for ya so you dont have spare parts lying around that you wont need.

As for the puck, the suggested one is the 700 but I would get the 1000, it will overdrive it a little bit to make it brighter.

the extra 300 mA will automatically make the LED brighter...
the Lux V requires 700 mA... the 1000mA buckpuck will give it more juice
