MHS force crystal chamber?

I would like to have a glowing crystal inside my hilt that would be visible through holes or vents in the sides. is it possible to make a MHS piece similar to EL emitter #4, except threaded on both ends for use further down the hilt, for this purpose? maybe call it "force crystal chamber insert" or something like that. I put a quartz crystal on top of one of those UV LED tire stem caps you see at walmart and it looked cool. I think this would make a really neat effect/decoration.

Tried it with a 3v watch battery and a simple ultra bright LED, lighting up a peice of quartz. It oly turns on when the saber is opened.

No blade or Lux 3 in this one - it's just an Idea I had for a hilt- but I like your idea dbrax.

wow dude! that is very very cool. much like what I had in mind. only difference is I want mine visible all the time. I assume wiring runs through those hourglass-like struts?

just a random thought. have you guys ever want to put your own logo on your sabers. i was thinking to put a flat plastic dist on your saber with a logo and maybe put some led lights on it. I dont have any pics but i was wondering if it was possible.
