The Custom Saber Shop
What was done:
1) Emitter style 2 had three slots cut in it, similar to the ones on emitter style 4.
2) Three style 1 claws were modified to fit directly onto the emitter, no claw mount needed.
3) Double threaded hilt style 2 had three windows cut into it.

Mara Jade Blade holder and 7" Hilt.
Tim did 2 custom emitters for me.
Here's the first one:
Here's some pics comparing it to stock Blade Holder 8
Here are some pics of it on a complete MHS saber
Here's the second custom emitter ... this one is short so it can be combined with Choke Style 2 and keep the length the same as the Kenobi ANH saber.
It's like Blade Holder 8 only shorter ... here's a pic next to the stock Blade Holder 8
Here's a pic showing the length difference with Choke Style 2
Here are some pics showing it next to an Master Replicas LE Kenobi ANH Saber
I wanted to match the Kenobi saber on length from the choke point to the top

Blade holder and ribbed section turned down (shaved to a bit smaller diameter) to accomodate pre-existing cowls.
Blade holder reshaped slightly for visual effect inside emmiter-shroud.
NOTE: If turning down a diameter on a part that is to be powdercoated, be sure to allow 6-7 thousandths of an inch for the coating. I made that mistake and ended up with a lot more work.
It's not how you move your saber...
it's how you move yourself.
