    Default Umm soldering.....

SaberBuilder_render.png I am trying to do a saber project sometime and was wondering how long to let the solder stuff cool. Im using the hilt for a dagger/shortsword. I forgot to fix the pic, but the switch will be an av switch in the pommel,

Don't blow on solder. You want it to form a 'wet' joint (a.k.a shiny) that will have the best strength and conductivity. The flux that boils off of the solder should do the job of cooling it well enough.
