Default Royal Blue Led Questions- 1st timer

I had a few questions regarding my first saber set up.

I plan on using a 36 inch TCSS battle blade:

Is the difference between LuxIII and V for a Royal Blue signifigant?

If I go the LUX V route are there any disadvantages to the 9v verses the 6AAs (since they won't fit in my hilt). i have read the 9v doesn't keep power as long, but how long would a 9volt be good for?

Finally, as I have no frame of reference how much brighter is a LUX III or V with a resistor vs a Driver?

Trying to keep it simple, since this will be a dueling blade that won't have sound or any thing too advanced.

Yes, the difference will be noticable.

A 9V will last a half hour if you're lucky. IMO I'd make space because 9V's are expensive and it will pay for itself in the end.

If using all MHS pieces, how much longer do I have to make the hilt to fit the 6 AA pack?

Right now its simple. emitter, handle, and pommel set up and I really like its look, so I would probably need a double male connector and another piece of tube.

    This pack will work:

6 cells in a Triangle pack. 4" long and it will fit in a hilt section or 1.5" sink tube.
