Default Corbin and MR board wiring help

My friend and I are wiring up my saber (Corbin Driver and MR Vader board), and we're having some trouble. Most everything was wired before I got it, and I've just had to add the LED, battery, and new switch. Before adding the new switch, we soldered the LED (which looks like a textbook solder), and added the battery as per the schematic. When we added the batteries and turned the saber on, nothing but the accent LED was working. No Luxeon light. No saber sound. Nothing.

    What did we do wrong?

I'd need a pic of the whole circuit to tell you anything, I can't make heads or tales of it the way it is.

Green coming from the Corbin to the speaker... WHY? That's why... your board won't get sound or light that way. Your Corbin board isn't getting any positive power and the MR doesn't have the speaker with the positive (thus the accent LED light but no sound).

Ah. So instead of wiring the speaker there (which was wired before I got it), the positive battery should go there?

Sorry for the double post, but now the MR board is working, but the LED still isn't.
Here is a pic of the wiring (sorry for the quality). If the wiring is right, should I re-solder the LED?

I think you have the wires to the LED wrong, from this last pic it looks like the leads are soldered to the unused tabs on the star hex base, the emmiter itself is only attatched to two tabs which both have a lead from the emitter itself going into them. at least thats what it looks like to me on the one I'm staring at, I'be never done one of these before.

The corbin board and mr board and speaker positive wires all go togeather, so thats 3 pos wires and 2 neg wires, the brown wires on the mr board is a speaker neg wire. that goes to the speaker.

I put up the diagram in the wiring and diagram forums.

he's got all that working, I'm pretty sure he needs to re-solder the LED, it looks to me like he's soldered the wires to the wrong tabs, If I'm thinking right that is. I'm assuming that the two tabs with the leads from the emitter going directly to them are the ones you need to wire to, is that right? if thats the case he just needs to hook the wires to the right tabs.

All the LED tabs work fine. As long as the positive LED lead is on a positive pad and the negative LED lead is on a negative pad, you'll be fine.
