The tricky part here is that your LED is going to want a latching switch and the soundboard from that magnificent Frankenstein of a saber will almost certainly want a momentary switch.

My recommendation would be to get an LED driver board like Corbins that operates off a momentary switch then use a double pole momentary switch to drive both of them.

Well, since he's planning on a Lux III, there's no need for a sperate switch for the led. It should be wired similar to an MR conversion, with the leads for the led ring in the hasbro saber going to the + and - on the led. It's pretty straightforward. You then only need to use one momentary switch, which you can opt for in the electronics kit. The resistor it'll come with isn't necessary though.

As far as what elsse you're missing goes, you may want a pommel insert to go with the MPS pommel, as well as a speaker when they come back in stock. The Hasbro speaker may be too large to fit in the MPS.

With my hasbro boards (both came out of the springing blade variety sabers) had two sets of leads where momentaries could go.......one was activated when the button was pushed and one when the blade actually extended..

Did anyone else have this kind of board? Am I wrong.....(this is entirely possible)

I think one set of leads turns the saber on and off with the switch, and the other set turns it off when you push the blade in.
