    Talking OMG! Ive an idea!

    Is this do-able?

Just sat here staring at my minatures when upon looking at Lord Sideous a thought hit me like Sith Lightning!

How about a cane which splits at the handle to create a curved handle lightsaber "and" a long bladed light saber/light spear?

Have i gone off the rails?

where would you put the blades? I think that could work, but the blades get real wobbly when they are over 36 inches.

Not reallym you could try 3/4" blades they can be hidden easyer than 1"

Sounds sweet to me. I don't know where you would put the blades but I like the concept. I know you could hide the curved saber blade inside the length of the can but where would you but the blade for the spear? Hhhmmmm.....makes you think

I'm all for a cane saber idea! I still would like to make one like those cane swords with the blade hidden inside.

That would be pretty simple to do.

Sounds do-able. Granted, a polycarb blade would take up room, but just as a means of having a pair of sabers connected without blades, I don't see why it couldn't be done. The idea would be a neat thing to see in a fan film or something.

I've considered having a longer staff type pole with a Luxeon saber on the end, like a spear or a naginata/halbred. I hadn't considered your way of doing it with a cane though. Pretty cool concept. Personally, I'd have the cook of the handle be more like 90 degrees, so that the one saber would function more like a side handle baton, but that's just me.

Sounds like it could be a Zatoichi style saber

Even without the curve it would look sweet!

I have grad school to pay for and what not so yeah I at least got one and am very happy. good luck hope you build it. OH i've always has a though of mounting a saber core inside a bokken handle but yeah still working on it.
