they're from the legacy of the force era, circa 100+ years after ANH took place.
they look like this:
they use standardized silver lightsabers and are loyal to the empire before the force, that about sums them up.
Loyal to the Empire? Doesn't really sound like 'neutral' or 'grey' to me.

its the post yuzaan vong war empire, it kinda got taken over by a sith again but the emperors aren't evil up to that point. Think of it like a more authoritarian version of the new republic, it has more order, less freedom, not really evil though. Remember this is 100 to 130 years after the first film, so it really isn't much related to palpatine's galactic empire other than in name.
That is very interesting. I am loving the titles so far. It would be cool to have customs though, but oh well. These are still pretty sweet!

It matters little to me as long as I don't have to have any sort of Sith Title associated with my name. Maybe offer two tracks with equivalent rankings, one for Jedi and one for Sith. That way the Jedi aren't stuck with Sith ranks and the Sith aren't stuck with Jedi Ranks. You could make it incumbent up which side of the force a forum user picks when they sign up. I think this chat engine is capable of supporting that structure but I'm not sure.
