Blade Help

As I stated before I have the 05 Vader FX Lightsaber and I was wondering if I could change the blade color without building a new lightsaber. I was looking in the shop and saw under the EL section a yellow blade that I would like to have on my saber. Would I be able to just take out the old balde and put in the new one?

PS Wil the EL blade be brighter than the original MR red one?

No, you will need to convert it to a luxeon. EL is not compatible with the stock LED string.

Look down in the forum at the "3W Conversion" forum. There is a sticky topic for the Vader saber. There aren't kits available, but it will let you know what is entailed in the conversion process.

I already looked at this and saved the page. Could I put another color in for my blade using this process? Also, would I need to build or convert to an EL to change the color of my saber because that's mainly what I want to do.

When you convert it to Luxeon you just use out what color LED you want.
