Maul Conversion help

Okies, I've hit a bit of a wall with converting my double Maul. I'm trying to put the new blade holder into the hilt, but it is getting stuck on one of the 3-4 ridges inside the hilt near the emitter. Any advice as to how to get the thing down all the way inside the hilt?

You bump it when its already at the top?

Sigh. have you tryed to see where it keeps it from moving farther in? Maybe try sanding the bladeholder to make it go in farther? or sanding inside the hilt?

Make sure it's centered, it may just be off a bit. Did you take out the o-rings inside? I never had a prob with tims holders.

Throw the blade holder in the freezer for an hour, then try to slide it in.

This helped with TCSS's Anakin ROTS conversion kit

There are O Rings inside the hilt?

The centering is my problem. Does anyone have a good method for getting the thing centered?

Ya there should be 2 clear ones. I just used my finger or maybe if you a piece of blade lyin around. On the ones I got from ambo, it was actually tight enough that I put in a blade and stuck it into the hild and used it to help pull up the holder.

Thanks a million Vortex. Those O Rings were the problem, and are now sitting in the garbage can
