just out of curiosity, is anyone in the nebraska area planning on going to nebraskon here the 16th-18th? its more of an anime thing than star wars but since its a good excuse to get into costume i'll be going. i figure, if i'm going, there might be some other saber nerds who may be too.

I would love to but I'll have to see what my work and the wifes work schedule is for them days. I don't have a costume but I could bring my sabers.

my friend and his girlfriend (going this year a boba fett and a jawa) went last year so i believe they do it every year.

If anybody does end up going let me know. I would go downtown for a day and hang out with some fellow saber makers. Be nice to see someone else's work in person...

How sad is it that I didn't even know there was a con of any kind in my own town? I mean I'm not all that into anime, unless the clone wars series counts, but a geekfest is a geekfest. As long as I'm not the only SW dork there, I'd totally go on Sat or Sun.

I wish I would have had a little more heads-up. I'm only about 3 hours away (Ames, Iowa), but I got a full schedule this weekend and won't make it. Too bad...would have liked to trapse around in costume and do battle with other saber geeks.
