Thread: I need an MR speaker

Default I need an MR speaker

    Gentlemen and ladies:

It has been some time since I posted on these hallowed boards. Do-Clo just finished a final rebuild on my custom saber. I have asked him to post pictures on the boards.

Unfortunately during the final assembly, the MR speaker malfuntioned [read crapped out] Do-Clo replaced it with the best one he had on hand. As he can tell you the MR sound board and speaker....that I got from Tim sounded better than just about anything he or I had ever heard.

I urgently need an MR speaker from a MR-Luke saber. If anyone has one they can sell me, I will pay any reasonable price.

Please email me at don.trim@westin.com with an offer.

    Thank you one and all.

Some say that's not true. All I know is the the original one worked better than anything I have ever heard. Of course if no-one has one to sell me, I may have no choice.

I think tims are bit better but you also don't have to tear apart a good mr batt pack to get it.

A great speaker with lousy resonance...
...will not sound as good as a mediocre speaker with great resonance...

at the same time u would think havin the same resonance as the mr it should b as loud but it wasnt i had to open the battery pack to give it more air volume behind it. it also changed the tone having so much resonance behind it compared to the mr. made it deeper sounding, however i noticed swing sounds were louder on it but clashes were quieter....odd

soon i will have many speakers to choose from lol, i got 2 commin from tim that i ordered b4 i found these other ones. and 10 speakers comming from a supplier ( 2 sets of 5 of different moddels of 28mm)
