Default Does Bin Variation affect Lumen output?

Hi, i read that K2 LEDs from different Bins affect color but does it also affect how bright it is?

For example i read that K2 blue bin 6 looks like Cyan bin 1

I wanted to buy a K2 Cyan since it is the brightest but they don't offer it in Star form and was ready to order a 3W Cyan instead until I found out a K2 Blue Bin 6 is a good substitute for Cyan.

Which is the brighter Cyan, K2 Blue Bin 6 or Cyan 3W?

The lumen counts aren't perfect... they are setup for the most common color of the set I believe.

Whatever, the cyan should erk out the blue by a bit. The closer you get to green in the spectrum the more sensitive our eyes are going to be to it.

IMO the choice for cyan bin 1 vs. bin 6 blue is how much green you want? Want it minty? Go for cyan. The Blue is about the lightest blue you can get without having a hint of green.

    Tekka...

Yes... and no. Essentially, you won't notice a difference from one bin of the same color to the next. At least not visually.
