Default Parks el saber upgrade (project Phoenix)

The name is very accurate for this saber, it started as a Parks el saber sent to me for a led conversion and a face lift, so here is the saber risen from the ashes. The saber was compeltely taken apart and several parts were painted with black epoxy paint, then a new pommel was machined along with a new emitter. The electronics were reworked to support the el wire along with the new Luxeon 3 watt led emitter. The stock Parks control/switch board was interfaced to the new electronics and it has a 36 inch long 3/4 inch diameter blade with Corbins blade film.

That's really beautiful! I always liked the aesthetics of Park's sabers, but was always disappointed in his sticking with EL. Now it's got the best of both worlds.

I'm not going to be able to resist much longer...gonna have to do an EL grip of some sort.

Oh man, very cool! The Echelon hilt is one of my fav. parks sabers. I like what you've done with it, very nice! It must have been a bit of a pain to get the corbin film in that small blade. I'm guessing just single wrap.

That one definitely has the best of both worlds. Very nice!

Are these Parks sabers ones customers are sending in to you for conversion, or are they your sabers that you are converting and then selling?

I'd love to get my hands on a parks EL saber, but they don't come up for sale very often at the places I look.
