    Default my new MHS

    Well I finaly got the parts yesterday! I'm waiting till later today to do the electronics when Dacota is here 'cause I'm new to this. I'll post pics of it with lit blades tonight, but for now heres what it looks like.

    Looking good. one thing I would suggest is to move the switches twards the center that way you got alot more hand space.

    I might, but so far I seem to have enough room.

    Bad news BTW. Don't bash me, 'cause I'm a noob when it comes to this. I got the wrong resistor so I'll have to check with radio shack to see if they have one or maybe a buckpuck. If they don't have one then does anybody know of another place that might so I don't have wait three more days and pay shipping again?

    Out of all this though there was some good. It was a learning experience, the wait will make me appreciate it even more when I get it working, and I didn't fry the LED! (thank god!) thanks to Dacota who used a voltage tester before we hooked everything up.

    I dont know how to find the right resistor at radio hack.

    They label things weard

    How did you order the wrong resistors? Didn't you order the basic electronics kits? That's what you should have done, if you're a newbie. Takes the guess work out of it, which is what it's supposed to do.

    And, don't you need 2?

    Yeah, Radio Shack is a bad place to look for specific resistor values like we use here for the various LEDs.
