ok ive run into some problems with dismanteling and need some advice on what to buy and where to get it.

1. the thingys on either side of the hilt at the top like gold poky outy things there are four of then two on either side how do i remove these do i simply pull them off?
2. im living in australia where should i get an LED im not sure if i can get one form custom saber is there somthing you can buy and dismantle it to give a good suitable LED? has anyone got an advice or previous knolege?

1) just pull them out with pliers.
2) Easy answer... buy from here. Tim ships anywhere. It'd be rude to help you otherwise, but it's not like he's the only source.

There are other "high powered" LEDs out there but for colors Luxeon has the best output and efficiency. You can use other "brands", but Luxeons give you the best results.
