Heiland Luxan LED conversion

Hey, another newbie posting somthing that I'm sure has been brought up before. Just what would be involved in turning an Heiland 3 cell into a Luxan saber with sound? And where could a guy find a machined metal emitter to turn it into a Vader version?

Ask Tim (owner of the shop) to make you a blade holder to fit a Heiland. He's done it before so it shouldn't be an issue.

For the whole sound issue... read around. I don't want to say it's hard or easy, but there is a lot to it that can't be described in a single post. I personally also don't like just "giving" answers because you don't learn how to do it that way.

Never fear though... we have a whole "Saber Sound" forum.

I understand about, "Just giving answers". It was kinda a cop out on my behalf.

I will have to spend a few days more pouring over the posts on this forum to gain more info for what I need. I have been carrying around an MR hilt on my Vader belt for some time now with the 501st. And it is OK. However I would just love to have something a little closer to the real prop if you know what I mean.
