Thread: PLI ignorance

    Default PLI ignorance

I looked around but didn't see an answer to my question:
How do you wire the PLI if there is no sound board involved?
The store pic seems to show a connector terminating the wire lead......

want to work one into a design but don't know how to pull it off.
Any advice, how2s, or why4s welcome.....
    Thanks

Wire it independent of everything. To be accurate that's how it should be anyway.

Put the leads to the batteries and interrupt it with a switch of some sorts. I sucks juice always on so a momentary to just check would be ideal.

Even with a latching switch it would still pull when off?
If that is so I may re-think using one.

    BUT,
It would be wired post switch to battery NEG and to Switch POS?

No... I meant it constantly pulls power when you have it setup with a latching switch. It's small compared to a luxeon, but you're not looking at it all the time... why have it on all the time (when the saber is on that is)?

The rest I'm confused on... just take the red and black leads already on it, both go to the batteries. Then somewhere in the loop put a switch.
