I kinda got the idea from yours neophyl

Mainly you don't see many of them(yours is the only one Ive seen with wood).

But I had an idea for the chassis to hold everything and mount it free spinning to the pommel. so speaker an recharge port are in the bottom both.

But that way I might have sound volume issues, I know you can adjust the volume on the board but you can only squeeze so much sound out of so few holes.

I have thought of having 2 custom 1.5" brass extensions then use the idea of slide a sink tube thru it and make a metal slug that will go inside the sink tube and sort of a press fit in the extension (I would prefer screws not be exposed) then a couple small set screws in the inner piece to press everything out against each other.

Then pretty much the same idea for holding the wood section in place, screws on the inside.

Would be kinda difficult to do. that and the chassis would be a pain in the butt with this setup.

Which is why I am thinking of scraping the idea, but my other idea I got on the side I don't think you can anodize a design, only a whole thing.

Blah so hard to come up with an idea that I can actually stick to.....
