Default Rendering/Visualizing MHS Sabers (new renders 5/18)

After reading several posts about "when's the MHS Builder gonna be updated" and just wanting to turn out better renders of my ideas, I've made the following MHS template. I've done my best to be as accurate as possible in both scale and design. Not having gotten my hands on any of these pieces, it's based upon the visual dimensions listed in the shop, and a couple of images posted by Corbin.

If I've crossed any line, or stepped on any toes, I apologize in advance. My intention is to help those of us who are photoshop challenged to better figure out how much money we can give Tim for his awesome parts.

Nice Arkai! Great that you did that and shared...

I think that will help a lot of folks who want to "puzzle piece" together a saber ahead of time to at least get the general idea of what they'd be looking at.

    Well done...

Nice! Looks like you've got my visual style down!

I say "my" because I actually made the MHS Builder images about a year or so ago, lol!

lol, I think he has cobbled together a lot of various ones Corbin has shown as examples. Maybe made some like the knurled pommel...

Nice! I know a lot are visual and need the picture to figure it out.

I did utilize some of Corbin's recent visuals from the MHS Wishlist thread for sizing, and that awesome neck piece and new custom body. Then I redrew everything. Woke up at 530am with that on my brain, and spent 3 hours working on it. Now my wife on the other hand could have done all of it in 5 minutes (she's a graphic artist by trade).

But the real credit does belong to Tim and Corbin for making the parts in the first place. And Nightwing for creating the original MHS builder. which is alot more fun to play with than Paint.

The first time I tried looking at it I gave up after 5 minutes and it was still loading. I will take another look.

I've updated it. I've added a 5 inch slotted with grips, a piece of 1.5 inch sink tube for shrouds, and I've included the XwingCurvy claws.

Looks great. There is no 5" slotted though its actually 3.58"

Grooves like you have shown in the custom shilt can be easily done for a $10 custom work fee or less on basically any of the hilt sections. You just need to stay .7" away from the ends if you want the grooves somewhat deep. And if people like a certain style it can be added to the selection on the site for easy ordering.
