    Not that Bright for saber applications but i thought it was hella small!

    Yeah, it's an SMD thing...

    trust me the Rebels are already smaller than you would want to deal with. The PWT is not something I'd want. Maybe for that flash idea Nova had, but otherwise leave it for cameras or something.

    I've seen those several months ago... unfortunately, they would not be so great for a flash effect, as they don't compare to an LED that is made to actually *BE* and LED flash... and certainly they would not stand up to a xenon setup.

    Maybe 10 to 20 would be nice... but that would be a wiring nightmare.

    That's why I was think you'd have to reflow solder them on a ring or something that would already have the desired crcuit. Put it around the emitter... there you go! It'd be a lot of work but I was just throwing ideas out there.

    Those leds can make a really nice bargraf or could be used around the hilt for "pimp" the saber. Can you imagine a Vader helmet or chestbox "decorated" with these leds? Too much ideas...

    Don't get me wrong, I love the idea... but as you've probably been able to discern from the Flange sabers, my saber building tools are extremely crude...
