Im thinking of picking up an Anakin AOTC FX to convert into a lux or an el, anyone here tried to convert this FX saber? IF so, tips and or pics would be a great help.

Convert usually means LED strip to Luxeon...
The MR Anakin AOTC is an EL. Thus making it a Luxeon is a lot of work. Everything is basically useless and every attempt I know of to reuse the electronics later has borked them.
Due to the difficulty and size of that model a much better idea is to get a silver shroud and convert a ESB or ANH Vader.
