I think you should just go all out on them.
Even if you don't make a direct profit on the sale of the shirt, or even if you take a loss one it, it will be $$ invested.
Worst case scenario... You loose say $5.00, $10.00 even, on a shirt sale. If even one person sees the shirt, gets on the site and consequently buys a saber, you've already recouped the money back.
And that's just one person. How many people read a flashy shirt in its lifetime? 1000s??? Say even 1% of them gets onto the site and buys something... That's at least 10 people per shirt X however many you sell = big return on your investment.
And can't you write off your losses? Or at least advertising expenses?
However, I think the design may be outdated, since it’s the original MHS hilt and there are many more options now. Maybe just swap out the old hilts for some random creations from the MHS Builder or something.
