This is what it looked like before.

Just about everyone I have shown it to said it looked too much like an Obi Wan. Which is unacceptable

So I redid the grips, got rid of the control box, added some brass washers under the brass strips and o-rings. The grips are craft foam and real black leather.

This is how it is now.

Very nice, but to be honest, I prefered the 1st version.
People may say mine looks like a Kenobi rip-off, but you think I give a SITH?

That looked good before, I don't believe it looked too much like Obi-wan's. It looks good with the re-worked grips as well, though. I bet they're a bit easier to grip, too.

Hey, it shouldnt matter what other people think of your saber. A lightsaber is supposed to convey your style and personal creativity. If you liked it before or if you like it now, thats all that should matter. In the end the only kind of respect that matters is selfrespect.
