    Default Polyethethylene Tubing In Australia???

Hello People! It's first post! The first of many I hope.

I was wondering if there are any people in Sydney, or Australia wide who had found a source for Polyethylene tubing in a natural colour. I've spend hours and hours trying to locate some with absolutely no success.

I did find a company that manufacturers the material here, but it's in black, which is no good.

Can anybody help end this EPIC struggle?

    Thanks in advance people!

I haven't seen too many Aussie's. I see PolyE tubing in the plumbing aisle of my hardware stores...

Not like Tim wouldn't ship to Australia.

It's weird, you wouldn't think that it would be different but most poyE comes in black, not natural colour here. During my search I've found some natural PolyE but it was only available in solid rods at each place.

I know you can purchase it off here, which I'd be more than happy to do if the cost of shipping wasn't $30US, Maybe I should talk to Tim and see if there's a more economical way of shipping? TIM??????????

There probably is not a cheaper shipping option. The PolyE tube we sell is custom made and I had to order over a thousand to get them made. It is the only way you can get a straight PolyE tube in the size we have. You can get the normal sized polye and straighten it with a heat gun yourself though.

    That said..
These forums are paid for by the store so trying to use them to find someplace else to buy something we sell is considered rude.

    Hi Tim,

If I was in the US I'd have absolutely no problem buying the parts off this shop/forum. I've looked at a few other places and decided to make this one my main stop for a reason. It's a good site, the people on the forum seem friendly and knowledgable. Also what you sell here is awesome.

I hope you see that ordering 2 pieces of $6 material then having to pay over $30 in shipping makes buying from overseas a bit of a hassle.

No offense was meant by me asking questions as to if there were any local suppliers. I didn't consider local manufacturers or hardware shops to be your direct competition so I didn't think there'd be a problem with it.

    Anyway, sorry.

I have no problem with people buying anywhere they choose. I just dont appreciate it if they use the resources I pay for to buy something from someplace else.

Is there a cheaper shipping alternative?
