EL Sabers and Love

I was bestman at my friends wedding last weekend, and at the end of the wedding, the closing march was the Awards music from the end of Starwars: ANH.

This was a surprize to everyone, and it was very cool. Now here is the funny bit. Durring the reseption, the grooms brother got up, made a toast, and told everyone to raise their lightsabers and wish the happy couple... and all that. And well, they pulled out flishlights and things, well one guy pulled out a home made EL saber! He made his a very different way. He used a threded rod, and wrapped it on that. It was a bit floppy, but that was because of how it was mounted. Anyway, I thought you would get a kick.



Also you will note, he has no off/on switch. he takes the battery out to turn it on and off.

I sent him links and things after the wedding. But I am also to blame tho. I found that site first before I found this one. And I got him started. Oh well. At least this way my first saber willbe cooler then his.
